Fish Grease, yeah definitely something hot. He is hot food for the mind
with every line in his rhymes. Hailing from Central Islip, N.Y., Fish Grease, born Darell Murray, was
inspired by the purest and most original mc’s such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, EPMD, Red Man and Nas to
mention a few. His futuristic flow and ingenious word play is what make onlookers say he is quintessential.
Fish Grease landed his first record deal at 16 years old when he walked into an Indianapolis, Indiana recording
studio and battled the lead act with his eyes closed. He was then signed to “Keeping It Real Records,” an Indie
Record Label. Fish Grease is featured on the movie “Bullethead’s” soundtrack, which was released in 2000 on a song
titled, “Better Then All of You.” His features also include Koch recording artist, Keith Murray’s, “Rap-Murr-Phobia”
album released in 2008 on a song titled, “We Ridin.” Fish Grease was then featured in “Murder Dog” and “XXL” Magazines.
Fish Grease intends to use rap as a vehicle to obtain a career in entertainment like rappers/actors Ice Cube, Will
Smith and DMX.
